The 13th Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed indefinitely due to corona crisis.
A BCCI press release on Thursday says it.
The Press statement says due to the evolving global health concerns regarding COVID-19 and lockdown measures implemented by the Government of India to contain the spread of the pandemic, the IPL Governing Council of the BCCI has decided that the IPL 2020 Season will be suspended till further notice.
The IPL had already been threw away from its starting date of March 29 to April 15. It again got a punch after the government extended a three-week lockdown until at least May 3.
Now BCCI is thinking health safety.

“BCCI will continue to monitor and review the situation,” the release concluded.
